New Quality, Branding-Focused, Targeting Released by Facebook

Facebook has just announced new branding-focused targeting that will be a game-changer in how ads can be targeted moving forward. Called brand optimization awareness, the data-based tool will allow marketers to find people who spend quality time viewing a particular news-feed, video, or display promo. This gives brands the ability to test ads in similar fashion to how direct-response marketers have been doing for years with Facebook, but with an additional focus on brand quality and ad recall.
